Garage Band Crash

Not sure that this is the right place for this, but i'm really struggling at the moment. Basically im having issues getting garage band working with new projects.

I click the 'New Project' button on the splash screen, and then it just crashes, however there isn't the same problem when i click on the "New Podcast' button it loads up just fine.

Not sure if you guys will be able tol help but im out of ideas so i'll take anything at this stage.

OK i have been doing some searching of my own and i have worked out that the problem only persists on my user account. I don't know if that would help work out the issue though.

I also took a look in the Error Console and got this

28/07/2009 21:45:02 com.apple.launchd[837] ([0x0-0xa40a4].com.apple.garageband[887]) Exited abnormally: Abort trap

I'll keep looking but any help would be grand.
