Garage Band Missing

    i really dont know how, or remember but im looking at my applications and i dont have garage band anymore, but i remember using it last week. i searched files on my computer and its not there. how do i get it back?

    1st: Check your trash. If its in there, just drag it out.

    2nd: Do you have time machine?

    its not in my trash, and i do have time machine but its not set up

    ok. well do you have the disks that came with your mac? you can install garageband from there.

    Instructions:

    1. Insert Mac OS X Install Disk 1
    2. A window will appear. (if it doesn't show up, navigate to the disk in finder). Choose "Install Bundled Software Only". An installer will open. On the screen that gives the button saying install, DON'T ClICK THAT! You want to choose "Customize" (As shown in screenshot). Place a check mark by Garage Band and any other items you want to install.
    3. Now choose "Install". Thats it.

    oh ok. thanks, guess i have to just do it that way. (after i find the cd's)
