Garage band Sound Quality

I wonder if mucisians can tell me if Garage Band sound quality can be compaired to hardware synthesizers like Yamaha Motif or Korg Triton. I like the idea of soft synth but will this be noticeable difference. Any other soft synth can be reccomended?
