iPad Garageband For iPad ???

I have an IPad 3rd generation, iOS version 9.3.5, i want to install Garageband.. the latest version is not compatible.. can i install a previous version?

Install it on another Apple device that's tied to the Apple ID on your iPad 3. From there, install GarageBand on your iPad 3.

I have only the iPad, no other Apple device.. is that an issue?

you cannot install it, because you don't have an old version associated with you apple id (you haven't downloaded and old version in the past with your ID) so no way with this ipad

Even if someone did have an older version associated with the Apple ID, it still depends on if the developer actually kept the older version around on the AppStore.
