I did notice that in the video shown during the Keynote about @connect, they did show an artist producing music on what appeared to be GarageBand. So it would make sense if this somehow allowed artists to connect to @connect.

all it takes is time and patience

Not a lot of that here from the posts I see.

Anyway, great program and FREE, yet people complain, even about the name (But can't come up with anything better). Oh well................

people don't realize how powerful garageband and iMovie are (can be). some vids out there using all of about $10 in 3rd party animation/content software along with these two free programs can make really professional looking stuff. its all about avoiding cliches, i.e. getting to know the programs for more than 30m to do 'that one thing you hoped it would do.'
.

Yeah, Garageband is ridiculously powerful compared to what we had 20 years ago, and it's free. "Logic Home Edition". Probably 80% of whatever I do in Logic could be done in GB, especially since you can use most of the same 3rd party instrument plugins.

Maybe I can upgrade this song I made with new synths. They need to put better newwer beats. Skip to half the video to where I'm singing and changed the beat to one I bought from FutureMusic. If used right, Garageband can sound almost proffecional! I'm creating a Garageband album I'd like to post on Apple music site or what ever.

Apples has me dreaming of really being something someday. I never liked my voice until I got use to hearing it using garagenad and developing it more into its unique way.

Sounds really good! I don't know if it's Youtube doing it, but you need to space out some of the instruments more; the synth stabs should come from left and right, and with a bit more echo and reverb on them.

Instead of "More Cowbell" people are gonna start asking for, "More Wub Wub".
GarageBand is gonna make it easy to comply.
