GarageBand not updating on iPad

I just upgraded to iOS 6 and have been able to update loads of apps but when trying to update GarageBand, it says 'cannot connect to iTunes store'. What do I do?!

I am having the same problem on my iPhone 4S. Not sure the issue.

The app store is a complete mess. Give it a few hours if not a day
