GarageBand Question

I was at the Apple store fooling around with GarageBand and I saw that the Apple store GB had a LOT more sounds and instruments as apposed to mine that came with my Mac. Is there somewhere where I can download an update of it? I hope that in the end I don't have to shovel out more money.

Sorry, but you do have to pay for the add-ons. They're called Jam Packs. Have a look on the Apple Store website and it'll explain.
