I have a new iPad and I've purchased Garagaband for it. While the app itself is decent, sometimes the sound it produces is badly distorted. When that happens, the sounds produced for all instruments is distorted. The distortion comes and goes (seemingly) randomly. It could happen even the third time I launch Garageband during the same session, while the earlier two sessions went OK. I'm able to clear up the distortion through either of the following ways: Restart iPad Play a YouTube video (whose sound comes out just perfect) and then relaunch Garageband. Interestingly, I'm not able to see the Garageband app when I try to kill it using the Task Manager (double-tap Home). What could be the reason for this issue? Also, can the distorted sound output cause longterm damage to the device's speakers, etc?
