garageband trouble

I've been trying some stuff in garageband. But there's one thing I just can't seem to find. How do I record music with garageband from my electric guitar??

I'd be glad if someone helped me out with this.

Plug your guitar into the Mac's audi-in, make a new track that's a "Real Instrument" (as opposed to internal "Software Instrument") and hit the big red Record button 🙂

You can play with amps and effects to your heart's content even after the recording is done.
