GarageBand vocals from mono to stereo problem

So I've been trying to record on Garage Band 09 and hit a wall on the fact that any song that I've recorded is mono and not stereo (i think?), I mean my voice only comes out one side of the head phones ...any tips on how to fix that?

A microphone is usually a mono source, so when it is recorded into a stereo input it only records onto one of the two channels. Choose the right channel in the track info and it should get "centered".

That didn't pop up on my track info, it's @ Stereo 1/2 (Built-in input) already but I recorded on Podcast like some vids showed me, so at the moment a little confused, and feeling mac illiterate. 🙁

So did you try selecting only one of the stereo channels?

yeah well I juar went to track info and all there was was 2monos and 1 stereo
