Is this the only piece of software on OSX that allows me to listen to MIDI instruments? I imagine Cubase does as well but it offers a little more than I'm needing - all I want to do is listen to a turntable through USB.
At the moment it goes a little something like this:
Turntable -> via USB -> iMac (Garageband) -> via RCA cord -> Amplifier.
Is there any way to use another program instead of Garageband? Audacity requires recording to listen.
