Garmin app replace garmin unit?

So I have a garmin nuvi 265 and I seen that apple has a garmin app. Has anyone replaces their Garmin unit with the app? Are you happy with it? Can you run your music and garmin in the car at once?

Any insight would be helpful. Thanks
