Gateway and default metric

Hi all,
can I change the default metric on my en0 interface?

I'll explain better. I've two interface, en0 and en1. So, I want to use the first interface with a "low" metric value and the second with an "high" metric value.

Can I do it?

You can adjust the metric through ifconfig, but why are you trying to do this? Are you trying to have traffic go over one interface versus another?
