On the eve of the upcoming Macworld, Gateway is making some announcements of their own. Looks like they are trying to steal some thunder from Macworld.

While this news is quite funny, I have to wonder if I will still have a job at the end of the month.

Gosh I hope you don't mean you work for Gateway. I'm pretty sure they'll be Chapter 11 by the end of the year.

Unfortunately, I do work for Gateway. I have been looking for other opportunities, it would seem just in time. So hopefully I will get another job before any massive layoffs happen.

Well, that was my first clue. Clearly they were losing the marketing folks when they failed to realize that their target (Apple) was one of onle two profitable computer manufacturers, not to mention Apples v. Oranges comparisons(Pun intended, sorry)

Sorry, spinner but it looks like they are restructuring themselves out of existence. Apple after MWSF Keynote is clearly the innovative leader in the computer world. Bill Gates might now start looking behind his back also!
