I returned mine. I am however looking to pick up a used one. I miss mine. I have to say buying anything more than the sport it is going to be difficult for this user to justify. I can justify about 300 for this device to use and bang on. I expect the next version to be 20% faster

I found one for $250 and even now am questioning whether or not I am really getting my money's worth.

I think at 250 it is definitely worth the price. That puts it right inline with a samsung gear. I think right now that is the perfect price for an apple watch. I am still trying to find one at the 250 price range. I keep having people think they can get retail still

That's the problem. Didn't feel it was worth the full price brand new..

It may just be me and smartwatches in general. As far as "nice" watches go this is also the first rectangular watch I've ever owned.

IMO anyone who buys the watch primarily for the third party apps is going to be disappointed. I do use a few, but really limit it. Watch OS 2 and third party complications has helped. But you need to be selective about third party apps until the software gets better.

People who buy the watch for its native functions (telling time, handling notifications, setting alarms and reminders, etc.) are going to be happiest with it in its current iteration.

Agreed. And even that, native apps and even glances are slow to load and/or cycle through. The slow speed is starting to get to me despite being a fan... Might have to get the 2nd generation sooner than later.

i was all excited of an Apple Watch and picked one of last weekend.

After a week there were things I loved such as the fitness apps and whatnot, and text notifications.

But the applications were too slow at loading and truly wasn't worth the 400 dollars brand new for me to keep it, so I am returning it tomorrow.
Sad to say this, but if they work out the speed and whatnot of everything, I will definitely be in for the 2nd generation Apple Watch when it comes out!

Now this is an honest review. You are correct. I kept mine because the notifications are important to me. I don't use any apps on the watch at all just a few glances and I'm content with that because the Pebble Watch I had prior didn't even do as much and the Fitbit Surge didnt come close either.

The Apple is nowhere near perfect but it's better than anything out there right now.

I figured that out instantly. If they get the fitness apps and whatnot moving a little faster not he next one I think I will enjoy that thing very much and definitely pick one up..

It is nowhere near perfect. I just wanted to give it a test run and whatnot and decided it didn't fit my needs (as some people are complaining and whatnot). But I think he next version will be a great one that they come out with to be honest with you.
