security ?

wow, i tested successfully on ipad4, iphone 4S and iphone 5. its almost too good to be true. would be cool to see a snes emu that can install like this. my only worrying thought is: how do we know the code in this "app" can be trusted ?

Doesn't work, cannot get beyond "installing". Then nothing happens.

Using unlocked iPhone 5S 64gb using version 7.0.4.

weird doesnt work on my friends iPhone 5 on 7.0.4 (JB) but works fine on my iPhone 5 7.1b3 (JB). maybe it requires to be a registered dev for whatever reason?

I know emulators aren't illegal, but this still seems like something Macrumors wouldn't want to promote. Installing software on a non-jailbroken device outside of the app store? Yea sounds pretty shady.

edit: ha oh Apple revoked their key and you have to set your clock back. Ha ha ha..

As was already mentioned, set your date back and it will work. I wonder of anything will change if I set date back to proper date?

Maybe Apple revoked their distribution key already. Did you try setting your system clock back a few days?

Alright, I was getting the same "cycle" problem, so I tried setting the clock back - and it worked! I also switched back to automatic date/time after it installed, and the app will still run.

Yep, changing the date works. Playing FIFA, Tetris and Mario Kart now!

Works fine on my 5S (7.0.4 jailbroken).

Hope to see a working PS1 emulator for the 64bit devices eventually.

I've gotten some of the other emulators that made it on the store but I was curious how this would work so I checked it out. Looks pretty cool still have no idea how it can be downloaded off the store.

I'm curious, how exactly does this get installed from the browser? Wouldn't that be a serious security issue?

I'm actually really interested in this now. Are there any other apps that can be downloaded outside the App Store on a non-jailbroken device?

I'm liking it so far too. :D It's a lot nicer to play on my iPod Touch 5th gen than it was on my Nokia 520. I thought the screen size was the issue, but it was really the combo of too many buttons on the bottom and that it was hard to hold since it was curved.

This is breathtaking.

A few simple taps to play Pokemon again. Time to relive my childhood.

I'm curious how they get around the app store restrictions to provide a direct download.

It appears to be signed by "ChinaVDI(Beijing) Technology Co.,Ltd" - so they've borrowed/hijacked someones Enterprise distribution key?

Presumably the "set clock back to before Feb 19, 2014" warning will be needed from some future date when the key expires or Apple cancels it.
This article explains how they (mis)used the iOS Developer Enterprise Program until Apple revoked the certificate they relied on.
