Gear S3 Battery bug?

    Anybody else getting terrible battery life on their gear S3/Frontier within the last two days?

    Mine has gone from a 2-3 day battery to a sub 12 hour battery and it's, (Samsung Accesory Service) even draining my Note 9 battery too!

    I've retired the watch until a fix or rollback arrives.

    Nothing on my S3 Frontier as of yet, however, I'll keep a close eye on the battery life. Thanks for the heads up!

    Random, but do you have the "now playing" screen randomly pop up?

    Bummer, I hope it gets sorted quickly as I wear mine daily for work.

    Yeah
    That's actually good battery life compared to mine lol.
    Samsung have acknowledged there is an issue and said it will be fixed in a future update but unfortunately, there is no ETA as yet.

    I've experienced this problem too over the last several days. I thought my battery was going bad.

    My Gear S3 is working perfectly with my OnePlus 6.

    Yes, there is some weird software issues affecting some users. Reset the watch and delete / reinstall the gear software on your phone.

    So, I've been carefully watching my battery life. I've not seen any signs of extreme battery drain. I'm wondering if my S3 Frontier (R765V for Verizon, but not using LTE) is affected.

    My battery life seems to be fixed after a weather app update. I'm going to give it another day to know for sure.

    So yea, it definitely had to be the weather app. Couple days after the weather app update, and battery life is strong again.

    My S3 classic has been absolutely fine with my Pixel 2 XL.

    My gear s3 frontier lte has excellent battery life.......get two days of usage so far.
