Gears of War for people that stink

I'm not sure if this thread is still as active as it appeared it was a month ago, but I'm just getting into GoW and wouldn't mind easing into it instead of getting mauled constantly. my gamertag is luftwaffles08 (the same as my profile) if anybody is up for some matches.
