Geekbench 5 is out. Post iMac results!

Gotta add that these guys are still crippling the Mac GPU results. The scores used to be the same as Windows and then last year without any changes on the user side the macOS GPU results came sliding down.

For those interested, here is the RAM I purchased for my personal i9 iMac.
I did not use any of the stock Apple RAM.

Hi,

I know this is unrelated however I am confused about Geekbench 5. This is just one example of this however searching the results you can find multiple examples of this. These iMacs have the wrong CPUs in them but ones which are compatible in other newer iMacs (sometimes). So I wanted to know what was happening here.

Just picked up a new 2019 i9 Imac and am very disappointed with the low Geekbench 5 scores I am getting. My imac has the 1tb SSD and standard video card and I am getting an average of 6600 on the multicore score and 1240 for the single core score. Why is mine 20% slower than what other people are getting? Should I return my Imac while I still can and get another one?

I did close all the other programs and did run multiple test including one in safe mode and after rebooting and using only the original Apple RAM.
