Kind of branching off of this front page thread let's post our geekbench scores on iOS 9.

The reason I made this thread is because I'm actually seeing an improved score on iOS 9 (beta 2). Single core improved for me by 35 points.

This is iOS 8.1 on my iPad Air 2.

So post all kinda of geekbench scores. With and with out battery saving mode on, older versions of iOS, and different devices! This should be an interesting thread.
    :)

Non of this data is relevant until a GM release at the very least. Too much changes.

i doubt a 35 point increase in your geekbench score makes a real use difference.

The score has dropped 60 points on my mini 2. Thanks Obama!

I think the seemingly random small point differences in Geekbench are a result of CPU throttling, running it just after unlocking your device will always give a higher score than running it after you've had your device on for a while and/or using intensive apps. In case no one's familiar with throttling in iOS Arstechnica explains it pretty well in their iPhone 6 review.

Can someone do a low power mode comparison for the iPhone 5? Thanks.
