What do you guys prefer between GeekTool and Dashboard? Do you feel like they're competing apps or do they both accomplish different things?
GeekTool seems cool, but I don't really need it to do anything Dashboard doesn't already do except serve as eye candy. However, I figured it would be worth a try since it may take up less resources, but even that doesn't seem to be true (I only have two widgets though: iStat Pro and the stickies notes).
