Can anyone help me, I'd like this on my desktop (Only the time and date bit):

Can anyone give me instructions on how to do this?

Also I do have GeekTool.

I just searched MacRumors and see that there is a thread to deal with this already which should give you some help. The first post has many of the formats to use in GeekTool for common outputs:
