Any word on when we'll see clocks for the 9600? It's looking more likely that the new MBP rev will sport the same 8600M GTs, possibly bumping to 256/512 though.

I have a feeling the 96xx and 98xx Series aren't going to show up for some time given the 8800M just showed up on the market.

There aren't any significant differences between G80 and G92 derived products.

As for the above comment: die shrink = power savings. Other than that, its sad but true. A new series number should mean more than just a die shrink and hardware accelerated Blu Ray and H.264 decoding.
I knew about your other thread. It didn't come to mind when I started this one. Behardware has a better presentation then just text.

i really, really don't care about the new penryn processors. i've read the reviews and most of them are lackluster, offering a 5% performance increase at best. What i care about is a major graphics card upgrade. no underclocked 8600's in the next mbp's, please.
