I got my PowerMac G5 about 4 months ago. And it says it has a Geforce FX 5200. But now I see that they are selling the PowerMacs with the Ultra versions. Is there any difference? Is the reg. version als tiger image core compatable?

P.S. I also got a C84 printer, ow it says C86. Whats up with that?

Asking if you have an ADC monitor is also a consideration.

Since getting a video card without ADC would mean an added expense of a DVI-to-ADC converter, vs somebody who is running DVI.

And asking why you didn't spend the $50 for the 9600XT card.

I didn't know anything about video cards back then.
I have a regular dvi monitor.(flat panel) And the card does have an ADC on it.

Does that mean that the 9800 pro thats 4x AGP on the ATI website works with my computer?
The 9800 Pro Mac Edition is for the G4 PowerMacs. For the G5 you need the 9800 Pro Mac Special Edition.
