Over here
Posting this here only because I am trying it out on my new Mac Mini although it works on most devices but I thought it would catch the attention of those that may not need the expense of an eGPU to play some games.

I recently got an email from Nvidia to say I was in the Beta so I downloaded the software and have been trying it out for a few days now. Games played for a few hours each.

Rust
Fallout 4
Fortnite
Two Point Hospital

In the main everything was easy to setup, it's all about time as it gets the games up and running.

What really surprised me was how playable everything was, absolutely no issues at all, there was no sense of it feeling like I was playing inside a VM, no lag although it warned me a couple of times that bandwidth was low but it had no apparent impact.

The Mac Mini just idles away in the background.

Anything in your steam library appears to work well, obviously I have not tried everything.

The key will be your internet connection, mine is 300MB so that is going help, they recommend at least 15 Mbps for 720p at 60fps and 25 Mbps for 1080p at 60fps. For me all settings were pretty much maxed out and I had no issues.

It's still in Beta the planned cost appears to keep changing depending on where you look. It is not the only service certainly so there may be better options out there.

If you are a binge player then it will probably get quite costly, that said the casual player like me may be better off going down this route. It's an option and I like to have them :)

No doubt more threads on this somewhere but as I say, just to highlight to those that bought a MM recently and show it may be something for them.

Also an option - Steam has the ability to stream games you own over your local network. So if you already have a gaming PC but just want to play a bit on your Mini you can do that too.

Yeah, that is what I am doing for now, the only reason I have the PC is to game and not that often anymore. So I have set it up to bypass the need for logging into Windows 10 then start steam automatically. Job done and just start whatever games I want directly from Steam.

It's quite beefy so it's just like playing on the PC. Overkill setup but then I have the PC so might as well use it.

I play WoW now and then, I am sure there is way to get this working through steam somehow, just not really looked into it, yet...

It's working well for me, has been for a few months. Sometimes my below-advised connection causes difficulties, but that's nothing to do with GFN, that's at my end.
