As title reads, is Gemini man 4K 60fps on Apple TV? I know that the blu ray is. Will be disappointed if it’s not on Apple TV as well

Being honest, i'd be very surprised if it's not as Apple seem to be first when it comes to video now - certainly they'd gone the Dolby Vision route a good 8 months before disc.

Bearing in mind that the ATV has the frame rate auto switching etc.

It's in 4K Dolby Vision and Atmos so hopefully.....

I guess that if it isn't, you could always ask Apple for a refund stating your reason.

Keep us all up to date on this please. I LOVE 60 fps so i'm very interested in this. I shoot everything in 60 fps and have for the last five or so years. I HATE 23.976 / 24 it just doesn't look real to me and of course do not work well on a computer screen or phone.

Looks a really great film. I'm sure the Dolby Atmos will do it justice!

No it isn't. BTW, it's only 60 Hz on the UHD Blu-ray, but not on the standard HD Blu-ray.

Very unusual Rigby for them to go to the trouble of a 4K Dolby Vision treatment and not offering the fps of the UHD Blu Ray. That sounds very unusual given the very very limited UHD Disc market.
The trailer on iTunes looked far too silky smooth to be in 23.976 on my MacBook.

Well, to my knowledge there isn't a single HFR movie on iTunes. And it's not like there are many to begin with (the only major ones I can think of are "Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk" (also by Ang Lee) and Jackson's Hobbit trilogy). For Gemini Man, the original theatrical frame rate was 120Hz, BTW, so the UHD disc is already reduced.

This has got me thinking. When the new Apple TV 4K launches with HDMI 2.1 and new A12 Fusion / A13 Fusion chip could we possibly, just possibly see films like this released in their full cinema glory in 4K Dolby Vision 120 fps in the iTunes Extras section???

I've just read the Forbes editorial on this film and the reviewer is simply craving the 4K Dolby Vision combined with 120 fps along with Atmos audio.

This could be a very very very interesting time with HDMI 2.1 and super fast fibre broadband.

Let's see if Apple can be the first to offer this kind of experience!
