I'm sure straps will work with the next Watch. I don't see Apple switching the strap mechanic on future watches.

Yeah, customers would have a ****** fit if their $500 strap wouldn't work with the latest watch. I actually envision the straps lasting longer than the watches...

Except Apple never acknowledges that there will be a future generation of any of there products until they make an official announcement to unveil it.
