Hey Guys,

I am a new user of Xcode and Objective-C.

I had a few generic doubts being a new mac developer.

Can someone help me with them?

1) How is the application name decided? Is there a list of apple application names maintained by apple?

2) How is the profit divided between the application developers and apple? In other words, what percentage of Profit will apple keep to itself?

3) How is the name of the application registered with apple legally?

1) You decide

2) 70% to you, 30% to Apple. As widely reported in the press, in the documentation on their website and generally Googleable

3) Legally? There is no legality. You "register" the name when you upload your app to the store (after you pay your $99)
