I have iPhone 5S, and looking forward to upgrade to iPhone 6S or 6S plus, but I am confused as after a year they are launching iPhone 7 so should I wait a year or get 6S plus?

I would suggest get the 6S(+) now and then the 7S(+).

I think the difference between the 6 and + goes down primarily to hand size. Sure, everyone loves a bigger screen, but I for one would never go for a +. it wouldnt even fit in my pockets. But then again, to each his own :)

I have finally moved from an iPhone 4 - 16gb, which served me so well for these past 4 years, to an iPhone 6S - 64gb - the change is incredible.
I move from 4 to 6, and I chose plus when buying the phone.

Now I can hardly say this is a wrong decision, because I don't have a device capable of running some games I was looking forward to long time ago before changing the device.

After a couple of months iPhone 6 Plus use, I think I can say my choice is not totally wrong, from design, to functionality. At least, I have enjoyed so much with this iPhone 6 Plus, while others were still waiting for iPhone 6s Plus.

Next change would be at least iPhone 8, and jump 7 completely. Four years upgrade cycle.

iPhone 6. I did the normal two year contract last year but will prolly opt for the AT&T Next or Apple's plan next time around. Honestly though I've been fine with upgrading every 2 years.

It seems a lot of folks are going for the 6s+. I guess people realized it is a toy sized phoned.

I have and use on a regular basis iPhone 6s +, Note 5, waiting for a Nexus 6P

128GB 6 Plus. No desire to upgrade to the 6S Plus but will probably upgrade to the 7 once it's available.

It all depends on how you feel about your current phone. They update the iPhone every year, so you always will have the option of waiting a year to get something better.
