Hello,

I know I'm well behind on the whole bending iPhone things, but I've just noticed my iPhone is badly bent, and the screen is coming away at the top of the casing.

What is the Genius Bar policy with things like this? Is a replacement possible, or will they tell me where to go?

Thanks
James

Some people have had success getting a replacement for a bent phone, others haven't. Best bet would be to make an appointment at the genius bar and see what happens.

How did it get Badly bent?? Noticing a bend in ur phone is one thing , but how did it get badly bent? I'd like to know what Apple does .. Let us know..

Give em another excuse like your screen goes blank or phone turns off. Takes me ten minutes to overpower those nerds. I've exchanged phones many times for the hell of it.

Sure I can read the post but your title is misleading.

People like you are why the prices keep going up. I have no respect for your immoral tactics. Hmm, and Apple is the one who keeps getting the evil eye....

Please. Apple is a BILLION dollar company. People scamming them is not why they raise prices. As much as I love my Apple products, the fact is they're greedy. Look at the watch: $200 for a band? Criminal.

You state that it is bent, but fail to explain WHY, which is kinda the point, and will be the WHOLE point if you go to the "genius" bar.

I thought this was going to be a story about the Genius Bar bending someone's iphone. That would've been a first around here. But alas, no. Another, "My iPhone bent somehow, what are my options?" thread.

Disappointed.

That kind of depends on if you read "bent" as a verb or a noun. It's not a great title either way, but one way it's fairly inaccurate and misleading, while another way it's just not grammatically well put but still fitting in the sense of keywords.

Read the title
The title doesn't make for everything, otherwise we'd only be posting in titles and not posts.

prices keep going up? ever since the iPhone 3g prices have started at $650 and so on....theyve remained the same.

Uh yeah, the prices keep going up. iPhone 6 and 6Plus between $800-$1000.
Comparing US prices to US prices, seems like the pricing is the same as it was for previous phones, like iPhone 5s and iPhone 5 when they were the latest model, for example.

You don't have to buy from them.

Hello I have a bent iPhone 6 plus, very little but noticeable on a flat table, for me, they wouldn't replace it, but since it's not to bad the phone is considered as still under warranty, but if it was severe, and ie the phone didn't turn on the phone has the damaged bent iPhone logic board, then that's not covered
