I took my iPhone 6 in recently because it was bent at the lower volume button. I've had the phone since launch day, don't recall how it got bent. I made an appointment with the Genius bar. When i talked to the guy helping me, i just set my phone down and showed that it rocked. He picked it up and said we'll set you up with another phone. I was in and out in 15 minutes.

I have Applecare+, i did ask if i would have to pay the $79 fee or if they covered it, he said don't worry about it.

One aspect of  is the great customer service and customer support given.

I'll be interested to read your update.

For what it's worth, I also thought the post was about Genius bar bending an iPhone by reading the title. Intentionally or not, the title is misleading.

But it becomes pretty clear what the title meant (despite the somewhat bad wording, or lack of one piece of punctuation essentially) as soon as the OP is read.

Yes, it is once you read the message, but you have to click on the thread and read the message to find out the true meaning of the post, and to me that is misleading. It's not a big deal, and I certainly don't think OP meant to do it.

So ..... Did the iPhone 6 get bent by you the OP somehow, or did it come new as a bent phone ?

Or is it really just a banana that looks like an iPhone 6 ?
