Genius Bar Questions..

I have a Genius Bar appointment to fix a bezel chip and my macbook, and while I'm there is there anything else they can do to "tune up" the computer? Around buying it I thought I remembered something/one saying that you should take it in once a year for them to do some sort of "cleanup/tune up" type thing. As I live 2 hrs away from the nearest Apple Store I just wanted to know if they can before I go, thanks 🙂

I've never heard of anything along those lines, but you could certainly just ask the geniuses when you get there.

Back up your data before you go.

Make sure you turn the machine on and test it before you leave the store.

I'm not sure if they do it anymore, but it was a very generic service for people with ProCare. You could leave your computer overnight for a "tune-up." It's a waste of time away from your computer, though.
