I see what you've done here:D

Finally someone got it. Reps for you my good man.

For the curious eyes, here's the pic for reference. It's not a hairline scratch, it's more like it's been pricked by something sharp, it felt rough and I could see the silver part underneath it. I did find the hairline scratch just below it though, under the sunlight, otherwise it's not visible.

That little mark? I'm glad you got the outcome you were after. Now let's all get pumped for the apple watch.

I can't believe they replaced the phone because of a pin-sized mark... wowza!

I used to be like you. Super-anal of every little teeny-tiny thing. Then I realized that life is too short to put that much effort into something that doesn't really matter. I only keep my phones for a year or 2 at most so unless it impacts the usability of the phone, I just let it go.

Then again, I don't use a case either and my phone has ZERO marks on it. I actually think some normal wear looks kinda cool on the iPhones!

Well, to be fair, it was a brand new phone. He deserved it to be spotless in every way, the way they got it when he brought it in.

If I would have caused that ding, it would've sucked but I would've accepted it because it was my doing. If a Genius caused that while taking my phone apart, I would not accept and demand a fix. It is a tiny mark, however it wasn't there before his phone was taken in for service. Would you accept your phone after it was serviced, with damage that wasnt there before? These are $800+ (retail) devices. These things cost more than a laptop for crying out loud!! If I bring it in the be serviced I expect it to be in the same condition afterward. Clearly, one of the drawbacks of having a premium device is the fragile materials used. The iPhone 6/6+ is the BEST looking iPhone in my opinion, but the materials are far too susceptible to damage, and that's why I case mine.
