Genuine replacement parts

Hello. Unfortunately I had an accident today involving my new MacBook Pro 14-inch (2021). Need to change the display/top case completely. The rest of the computer is fine. Is this a matter best dealt directly with Apple? Any other ideas about where/how/cost to get this replacement part?

Did you purchase AppleCare + ? Let Apple take care of it, all you need to do is pay the deductible.

Apple is not going to provide you with replacement parts nor are replacement parts available elsewhere.

Even without AppleCare + it's best to have Apple do the work. It may be expensive, but it will be done right.

@chscag is spot on. Have Apple take a look and do the repair. With the Mac being so new, they may show you some mercy. Contact them right away.
