This may seem convoluted but I have a question regarding geotagging on the new ipod touch 4g:
Is there anyway that i can connect to a 3g network with the touch?
I know of Mifi and such products but does the touch NEED GPRS to use geotagging or just wifi or 3g?
I have a Canon Dslr and would like to geotag my photos using my touch......
If there is any way or if anyone has another suggestion, I'm all ears.

In short, no. I believe the touch geotags its own photos if possible with the wifi location service. That's it.

ETA: Maybe some jailbroken program will be able to export wifi location info over bluetooth in the future, but that's purely speculative as an iOS 4.1 JB is not even available yet for download. You definitely won't ever get 3G or GPS location info from a 4G touch.
