I have iphone 3GS - geotagging seems to hardly work accurately! Sometimes, it will not even geotag a photo, other times it will tag within blocks of the correct location, other times - not even the same state! But if i use the maps the GPS (pulsing blue dot) will give me detail down to which side of the house I'm on!

What gives?!?!?

We're at version 3.1 and of all the complaints I could find with this, many were sort of old....but I still have problems!

Anyone else?

Am I wrong in thinking that its the iphone? Could it somehow be itunes?

Do you also have the problem in the following scenario:

- Open Maps and wait until your position is located accurately
- Open Camera and take a photo

If the geotag of the photo is wrong in the above scenario, I think you should visit an Apple Store (if you have one close to you).
