    Hey

I like the full screen feature. But I'd love a gesture short cut.

Any way to make this happen? Can I define custom gestures in Lion (or using a Lion compatible third party app?)

Yep BTT will do it, it also adds the two finger swipe to Firefox like in Safari.

mmmm. I wonder why apple didn't impliment this. Maybe the gesture that shows the desktop would be better used to make an app full screen?

Not sure why either. I also discovered using BTT that you can assign 2 finger forward and back swipes to the App store. Which makes perfect sense, now all my apps that have page type navigation, like Safari, Firefox, App Store, etc will use the same gesture to move forward and back. Time to donate to BTT!
