That is a completely bogus assumption. Not everything is a conspiracy.
That’s not a conspiracy lol… it’s well known Apple overpriced their devices and purposely leaves out something that wouldn’t cost them much more. 120hz screens is the glaring “conspiracy”

Calling 120hz pro is insane. I can buy a burner with 120hz and a big gulp at 7/11 for 1/4 the price.

Not..everyone..needs..or..wants..cellular connectivity in their mini. Why would I spend money on something I don't need. For the few times, I might need it, I can just turn on my iPhone's hot spot and connect the mini via wifi. And if you want cellular you can get it from a company called....Apple.
Don’t even have to have the iPhone hotspot on to continuously connect iPad to it for use like this. I used to always buy cellular iPads. But they made the connection so flawless it made it pointless to buy a cellular iPads every time I open my iPad screen away from its natural WiFi network, it asks me if I want to connect to my iPhone. Click one button and it connects. Just have to set that initial connection up with the hotspot, but then hotspot can be turned off and it still will allow it to connect to the hotspot. It’s gotten almost to the point where Apple should just allow the iPad to connect automatically without clicking connect to iPhone. Think of a setting that allows it, just like AirPods. So simple at this point.

No cellular compatibility? No point. It’s a crippled version of the full product.
It’s like buying a 4 cylinder Chevy Camaro just to save a few bucks.
Not true. Almost anyone with a phone can use the phone as a hotspot, obviating the need to pay more for a cellular tablet and to pay one's carrier an additional fee for the tablet every month. Plus of course WiFi is ubiquitously available now.

There of course are specific use cases for having cellular, but those folks are in the minority.

As soon as I got my first iPad mini (6), the idea of a Pro mini was unavoidable. It’s hands down my fav iPad I’ve used. Paired with Pencil 2, it’s been a complete game changer for my creative workflow.

One prob: Apple doesn’t really do “Pro” and “mini” in the same device - which I think is a mistake. I’d imagine there’s a pretty decent market for users that want “pro”-spec’s iPad in the. But with rumormentum growing for the foldable, I’m pretty sure there a 0% chance we see an iPad Pro mini (or iPad mini Pro).

My question: will we see Pencil support for the foldable?
I started to write "No way a foldable will not have pencil support." Then I thought about it and consider yours a very valid question. Apple has kept pencil support from iPhone Max for no good reason that I can see, and pissing off lots of users including me. So they might similarly cripple a foldable.

I don't understand this. Just because a given person uses their devices in a different way for different reasons doesn't mean everyone else does or should.
Me thinks the need to be right was more important than making sense...

No cellular? No GPS? All things considered, the ipad mini is truly a pathetic little device. It will have even less reason to exist when the foldable iphone debuts.

In Sweden, the iPad Mini costs $200 more than the regular iPad ($699 vs $499). While our prices include VAT, they’re still significantly higher compared to the US. Every Apple product has become more expensive lately, which is why many people are switching to Android devices or buying second-hand phones. A lot of users are also holding onto their iPhones much longer than they used to.

That’s a good price, if you sent one I’d suggest getting it whilst you can before the prices go up.

$300 difference between 128GB and 512GB when the only difference is a < $30 NAND chip. What a deal! /s
