This feels like Amazon is trying to take some money off the table before Apple drops new products. I don’t see a new iPad mini until later this year or early next year.

The new iPad Mini will be the iPhone Fold with a modestly more expensive price tag.
There’s been rumors of an upcoming OLED iPad Mini coming this year. The question isn’t if, it’s when is it coming out?

I don’t anticipate it being released this week, but I’d love to be surprised by it.

Hope we see a new one of these this week.

And also that they finally allow Apple Watch pairing to an iPad.
Indeed, hoping for a new OLED Mini, and actually prefer an Apple Watch that requires NOTHING to setup and 100% standalone.

Pairing a watch with a phone kinda made sense a decade ago, now, zero reason since they have fast chips, good wifi, good storage, and many with Cellular.

Bought mine around Thanksgiving/Christmas timeframe (128 GB) and use it daily for reading, etc. for only $399. One of the best consumer purchases in terms of value per dollar that I've ever made. I've added a non-reflective screen protector and, for me, the screen is great for reading, watching YouTube, light media consumption, etc. Would OLED or faster/better CPU be nice? Yes, but it's not a deal-breaker the way it is.
