My wife really really really wanted to buy the Max 2, and thought they sounded great, but found them to be so uncomfortable that they were a definite no buy and bought Bose instead.

The AirPods 4 are way too expensive imo. I’m sure they sound great, but other brands already implement ANC on their Ear Buds for way less money.

I hope Apple rethinks this decision with the AirPods 5, because as of now, I don’t think the AirPods 4 are worth it at all.

As usual AirPods doesn't make much sense if you're not into Apple ecosystem. But if you are then any AirPods is invaluable match made in heaven. My wife loves her AirPods 4 because it fits into her little ears, it has smaller case and has 90% of all AirPods Pro features.

Yeah many other brands have cheaper ANC earbuds, just not as convenient because you have to pair it separately for each devices.

I agree, they are too expensive. And they really don't sound that great. At least that was my experience with them. I returned them and tried out the CMF Buds 2. They were $35 on Amazon during the holidays. 5 months later and I'm still happy with them. Better sound, better seal, great (better) battery life, and they have ANC.

Still using a lot my OG ones I bought at launch. I do covet the adaptive ANC that the newer ones have, though.
