My wife and I keep slowly but surely cutting subscriptions. We are tired of paying monthly fees and it can really nickel and dime you to death.

I don't see this as a good deal unless you don't have cable tv or another live tv streaming service such as Youtube Tv. Even then ESPN doesn't have all the sports televised.
 
I totally get the fact that macrumors uses affiliate links to support the site without having to sell ads, but putting a screenshot of a non-apple streaming service on an iPhone doesn't make the content apple-related.

I'd prefer seeing a pop-up ad, over an affiliate link masquerading as apple content.
 
Love when people gloat about being a 'cord cutter' yet gladly pay for 10+ different streaming services per month along with internet access. Total comes out to even more than paying for cable+internet package.

Not defending cable companies but come on.
 
Aside from ESPN, most streaming services have nothing new to offer. I guess they think folks are going to sign up because they have one new series. There's hardly any new content. If you pull up HBO, their headliner show is Sopranos...which ended in 2007.
