hmmm...never heard of this event before.
sounds interesting. maybe next year when i actually have time to do my "coming soon" pages ,)

btw, mnkeybsness, just a note on your site.
seems like you felt to the same background positioning trap as i did.

attached was how your page looked like on SeaMonkey (mac)

the culprit was at this line:
background: #FFF url(images/temp-reboot.gif) center center no-repeat;

simply add fixed as the positioning:
background: #FFF url(images/temp-reboot.gif) fixed center center no-repeat;

although i think it won't matter much anymore since it's close to 'reboot' time ,)

-stndn.

(btw, pardon the screenshot. i'm on limited bandwidth so i have to conserve on image size)

grrrr gecko is dumb sometimes. i totally forgot that it only makes the <body> tag as tall as it thinks it needs to be. thanks for the reminder.

Whoops... looks like I was a month early and didn't even know it. I did my years-in-the-making, totally-CSS-based redesign on Sept 20. Had I known there was an event for that sort of thing, maybe I'd have waited a month to go live with it...

It's too bad the CSSReboot really got no exposure this year. I've had barely any hits from it over the past two days it seems hardly worth it to list my site there.
