I am wondering if there is a way to get the full Model Name of a computer from the Command Line? For example I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013) and would like to be able to see that returned instead of MacBookPro10,1, which I already know how to get.

The problem is that MacBookPro10,1 can be either a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013) or a MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012).

Somehow Apple Remote Desktop is able to determine this, but I can't figure out where it gets it from.

I was able to find what I was looking for at this page. Thanks for the link.
