Get Info doesn't show image dimension etc.

This started happening very recently.
Instead of showing the usual 1920x1080 or whatever, it just does "--".

Mer info means More info, which is where the dimensions should be.
It still shows dimensions for images I've already checked a while back, but not new ones, no matter which browser I use to download them with.

I tried using the guest account, but it didn't work there either.

Then I am still baffled. Normally I would advise to delete the Finder PLIST file, but it will probably not help, as it is a system-wide error.
Maybe repairing issues can help:
