Other "Get ready for pre-order" problems

I'm having trouble completing the "get ready" process for pre-orders this Friday. Has anyone else encountered this message in the Apple Store app? I also tried on desktop and still getting an error. I'm on Verizon for what it's worth. Seems like it's only happening for the iPhone 14 Pro Max 1 TB in gold.

I am not even getting this far! I am stuck on the "save your preorder info" button

Several people have been reporting similar issues this afternoon and the commonality seems to be they're all on Verizon. Perhaps some server side authentication issues or something? I hope it gets resolved for you and everyone soon!

I tried 3 different browsers for hours! grabbed the ipad and went to the store app and hit it on the first try

I don't think you can. The phones I had bought from Costco needed to have a line associated with it.

I have Verizon and it went through. Maybe I got lucky?
