My friend downloaded Angry Birds on my system when he was using it (using his account) and deleted it later, but the App Store still shows that there's an update for Angry Birds. Is there a receipt or something I can do to get the update icon out of the App Store? It's annoying to always see 1 update.

Under the "Purchases" tab in the Mac App Store...

Run your mouse curser over the installed tab associated with the App you'd like to remove. An "x" icon will appear. Click it to remove the App...

It isn't going to appear because it was not his account.

I am thinking... you will probably need manual uninstallation after dragging that bird icon into trash can.
