get rid of "Cannot connect to iTunes store"

Because I don't use it and it slows down the app, I use little snitch to block iTunes from connecting to the store. As expected, iTunes displays a message box that it cannot connect to the iTunes store.
Yes, this is only a minor annoyance, but i'd rather not have the alert pop up. Anyone suggestions?

Go into iTunes preferences, and check the pages that have box's that are used to check iTunes store, and uncheck them. Be it, checking for updates, downloads available, ect.
