Get rid off "iMessage registration" popup?

I want to use only me eMail adress with iMessage. So I have only registered my @me.com mail adress in iMessage.

But I receive DAILY a popup message to register my phone number via SMS.

Is it possible to get rid off this message or have I click on "Cancle" every time I switch from airplane mode to cellular mode?

With iOS10.2 the message popup period increased dramatically. Appr. 10 times per day.

Randomly. I don't want to register my phone number within iMessage.

I am almost sure that this is by design. On iPhones, iMessage is supposed to be tied to the phone number. I don’t think that this is the same problem as explained on iphone-ticker.de. You don’t want to complete the registration, whereas the problem explained there is that the registration cannot be completed at all.
