I uninstalled Safari for my Mac ages ago, and I was wondering how I could get it back.
do a software update or visit download.com and search for safari
1. Software update doesn't find anything
2. Download.com just links to the Apple site which says it comes in the software update
its from iusethis.com
Once again it just links to the Apple.com site.
Run a google search for WebKit Nightly, and download that. It is the same as Safari, just more up to date.
If you put your OS X installation dvd into your Mac, there should be a folder for optional installs. Double click that, click the Option Installs file, and after going through the whole accepting of the license agreement, under applications you should find Safari there. Check it and click continue to install it.
That only works for Windows.
My bad. In that case, it should be a package on the install CD.
