Get sound from 15" Retina MBP 2013 to play thru TV?

I've got a 2013 15" Retina MBP to play thru the television? I've got it connected to the tv via HDMI and the video shows up just fine on the tv but the sound is only coming thru the laptop speakers.

Ideas?

Hold down the option key and click the speaker icon in the menu bar. You should be able to select a different output.

If that doesn't help you, this thread may get your audio through HDMI working.

Oh, and the OPTION+CLICK is nice. I started clicking on all kinds of things with new options.
